The diagonal of a rectangle is 34cm and one of its sides is 30cm. Find the area of the rectangle

The answer is A=480 cm², this because you use the formula [tex]A=l\sqrt{d^2-l^2}[/tex],

[tex]A=l\sqrt{d^2-l^2} =30*\sqrt{34^2-30^2} =480cm^2[/tex]
