x/8 < -10...multiply by 8
x < -10(8)
x < -80

so all numbers less then -80 are solutions..notice that I said less then...so -80 does not count.....it would be -81,-82,-83,.......and so on. Dont forget...with negative numbers...the larger the number, the smaller it is.
