Assuming this is basic high school level. Plant organelles and animal organelles are different. So here's both. Mitochondria: Powerhouse of the cell, produces energy Choroplasts: Produces energy in plants through photosynthesis- using light energy. Endoplasmic reticulum (smooth and rough) - Make and export proteins and fats (lipids) Lysosome- Contains enzymes, breaks down proteins Cell membrane- Allows necessary chemicals in and out of the cell. Cell wall: Holds the contents of a cell in. Expands to hold water. Only in plants. Centrosome: Helps with the cell cycle Vacuole: Storage space that holds water and solutions. Nucleus: contains genetic material -DNA- and gives instructions to the cell Golgi apparatus: Packages proteins intro membrane bound vesicles. Ribosome: Making proteins (synthesis) Next time, be a little more specific please!
