you have two friends pay $40 for tickets. the cost was divided three ways in the ratio 1 : 3: 6. how much did each person pay?

ans:- 4:12:24
first add the ratios,that is =10
Then find the amount the 1st person payed= 1/10 *40
=4
2nd person payed= 3/10*40=12
3rd person payed= 6/10*40=24
therefore your answer is 4:12:24
