Find the selling price of a $15.25 pair of socks with a 18% discount. Round to the nearest cent when necessary.

I believe the answer would be $12.50. multiply the original price and the discount percentage and divide that by 100. once you get the amount saved, which in this case would be $2.75, subtract that from the original price.
