where ,

  • [tex]x_2 = 1[/tex]

  • [tex]x_1 = - 3[/tex]

  • [tex]y_2 = - 7[/tex]

  • [tex]y_1 = - 4[/tex]

let's solve :

  • [tex] \dfrac{ - 7 - ( - 4)}{1 - ( - 3)} [/tex]

  • [tex] \dfrac{ - 3}{4} [/tex]

Slope = -3 / 4
