Suppose x + y = 6 and xy = 4. Find the value of x² y + xy² without solving the equations.

x+y=6
xy=4
x^2+xy^2
first take out the common factors from the equation
so..
xy(x+y)
then substitute the numbers corresponding with the terms given
so..
4(6)
then multiply
