A rectangular field is 0.45 kilometers long and 0.4 kilometers wide. What is the area of the field in square meters? Do not round your answer. Be sure to include the correct unit in your answer.

area of rectangle = l * w

here l=0.45 km

w=0.4 km

area = 0.45 * 0.4 = 0.18 sq. km

Answer : Area = 0.18 km²
